about the Art Room Underwood

Art room UNDERWOOD is located on the 23, Rubinstein street, which many residents of St. Petersburg called "Dovlatov`s House", as the famous writer Sergei Dovlatov lived in one of the communal apartments of this house for almost 30 years, from 1944 to 1972. Our name is connected with the legendary typewriter UNDERWOOD, which Dovlatov used to write their works. The outline of his typewriter can be seen in the sculpture, located right under the windows of our place. Our guests are greeted by an antique working version of the UNDERWOOD typewriter, despite his advanced age.

Accommodations

1. Guest who moves in at the art room must be over the age of 18 years. Minors can be accommodated in the art room only accompanied by their parents, legal representatives or by a notarized power of attorney.

2. Check–in time is 14.00, check-out time 12.00 Moscow time.

3. Early check in before 14.00 free of charge subject to availability on the day of check-in. Guaranteed early check-in is charged 50% the cost of the first day;
- late check out from 12.00 to 23.00 – payment of 50% of the cost of the last day;
- late check-in after 23.00 – 100% of room rate.

4. Children under 2 years stay free of charge.

5. For safe storage of Your valuables please use the safe located in your room.

6. Strictly prohibited:
- give the keys to unregistered persons;
- smoking in the room and throughout the establishment (additional fee for cleaning rooms in which they smoked - 5000 rubles);
- disturb guests from other rooms.

7. For foreign citizens we provide visa support and registration. The cost of invitation for visa 1200 RUB.

Booking cancellation	When booking a rate with free cancellation the guest may cancel their reservation up to 2 days without penalty. If you cancel 2 days or less will be charged a penalty of 1 night. When booking at a non-refundable rate, the cost of the entire reservation can be retained at any time. Payment is not refundable.
